The rips are bit-to-bit identical, so I'm not sure what I'd be looking for. Even if the rips weren't identical, they would still be indistinguishable when viewed by a spectrogram, with the exception of the offset (and even then if the scale were in a matter of several samples) ~

not only AR verifications...the CRCs of the two rips are identical for all but one track

Just to compare the frequencies of each rip, I have some secure rips with same CRCs but the frequencies of one is lower than other

That's simply not possible. For lossless files, the frequencies won't be different unless the file is a transcode, or the CD is of different mastering

It isn't much lower than other. It's some frequencies that you can only see if you zoom it and see the frequencies.
I can't screenshot it because the size of the file will probably be more than 5MB, and it's much for my internet and my body a_a

So why Defeat audio cache must setup to YES?

EAC needs to read from the disc, not from a cache, each and every time. This is the basis for error detection and correction,
and thus for establishing that the rip is a perfect copy of the disc,
It is almost impossible that the data would read the same more than once if the drive did not read it correctly from the disc.

However, if the data is cached it is no surprise that it reads the same the next time it is accessed even thought this cache is wrong,
EAC " Doesn't Know" that a drive caches audio data,It still need test cache with CacheX and Feurio Method,
this is troublesome and re - setup to "YES" is the most secure mode,
Like EAC creator said"As far as rip quality is concerned, it is never wrong to have "Drive caches audio data" checked".

Strictly speaking, the setup without following format(Secure/ YES/ YES/ OFFSET needed) shouldn't given any love point,
and any wav tracks without encode to flac tracks should't , Tags issues on wav tracks are terrible.

Now EX咖哩區 force people rip in secure mode only , this is a basic line, and most of rippers at EX咖哩區 knew Secure/ YES/ YES/ OFFSET needed
maybe I will strictly carry on next time, about offset and Defeat cache.
