1. If it's a selfrip (自抓) or self-purchase (自购), don't share it
2. If it's not a selfrip and you want to share it, re-upload the files and don't "hotlink"
3. If you share it, don't charge money for it
   

• Posting of Doujin or self-published works by Mainland-based circles without permission from label/circle owner (Taiwanese-based circles are ok)*
• Reposting of other users' selfrip (自抓) or self-purchase (自购) resources, offsite or onsite*
• Requesting re-uploads of selfrips or self-purchases anywhere other than in Requests district, or by PMing the uploader.
• Similarly, asking users other than the uploader for archive passwords. If the uploader doesn't respond, assume it's a no. If you want help writing in Chinese, you can PM a bilingual user like ethoraji or post in the help/FAQ thread, We're happy to help if it means avoiding a misunderstanding.
  
• Sending multiple PMs/harassing users for not re-uploading their rips or sharing passwords. If you do this, not only may you get a warning from moderators, but you may find yourself suddenly unable to download that user's uploads...

• Copying+pasting the posts of other users (seriously)
  
• Making English posts of under 8 words or Chinese posts with less than 5 characters
• Meaningless/contentless posts or comments not germane to the topic of discussion
• 'Bumping’ a post with more than 3 subsequent replies [without the addition of any supplementary content]
• 'Flaming‘ and personal attacks
• Posting personal or sensitive information
• Posts containing "yellow" content, including:
• Posts containing lewd material, pornography, or yellow jokes
• Posts containing nudity (if an album you're uploading has nudity, lewd content or content which could otherwise be viewed as 'yellow', please contact a moderator upon uploading)
  
• Posts containing violent content
  
• Swearing directed at other members
• Making posts containing any other content deemed mundane or inappropriate by moderators
• Reposting the same archive more than once
• Posting a batch upload for resources that are already available on the forum, without the addition of any new resources (i.e. if someone has already uploaded a discography from a given circle, don't upload the same discography unless your discography contains albums theirs doesn't)

• 新人报到 (New Member District)
• Shitposting, contentless replies, etc.
• Replying to more than 8 posts in 2 hours, or 12 posts in 24 hours


• 新作资源 (New Work District)
• Music posted in 新人区 is restricted to following genres/classifications:
• 动画 (Anime OST)
• 游戏 (Game OST) - not limited to games published in Japan
  
• 同人 (Doujin Music) - see specific note below
  
• 综合 (Japanese-released music including J-pop, Film OST, TV OST, Drama CD, etc.)
  
  
• 同人 music posted in 新人区 must be available for purchase in commercial CD outlets in Japan (i.e. Amazon.co.jp, HMV, animate, etc.) - This does not include indie or doujin-specific stores (such as D-Stage, Toranoana and Guhroovy)
  
• 東方 (touhou) arrange music is specifically not permitted and should instead be posted in 同人区
• Selfrips posted in 新作区 must be within 2 months of release date
• Non-selfrips must be posted within 1 month of release date
• Exceptions to the above rule may occasionally be made, for example in cases such as;
  
• The release is extremely rare or difficult to find and a case was made to the district moderator
• The release has not yet been posted to the forum and is deemed significant, at the discretion of district moderators

• 同人音乐 (Doujin Section)
• Content is limited to non-commercial music posted by doujin circles, with the case of a few exceptions (i.e. Exit Tunes, IOSYS, LIA, etc.)
• Content is not limited to any particular region, however  bear in mind the site-wide rule against publishing releases by Chinese doujin circles
• As mentioned before, reposting the same archive more than once

It is highly recommended you upload to  Baidu (commonly written as 百度) file host [BD] which can be accessed by both mainland and non-mainland users. A Baidu registration and upload guide exists in this thread

If you are unable to use Baidu, Mega.co.nz [MEGA] is a reasonable alternative.

If you are uploading compilations or box sets of over 4GB, either upload the music into separate files (i.e. one archive per CD) or use multi-part archives. As a general rule of thumb, try to keep your archives under 1GB
